Organ concert St. Stephen’s Basilica

We cordially invite you to a fabulous organ concert, which is organised only for our delegates. The venue of the concert is the marvellous building of the St. Stephen’s Basilica. The Basilica is the most important church building in Hungary, one of the most significant tourist attractions and the third highest church in Hungary. Equal to the Hungarian Parliament Building, it is one of the two tallest buildings in Budapest at 96 metres (315 ft) – this equation symbolises that worldly and spiritual thinking have the same importance.

The venue of the organ concert is: St. Stephen’s Basilica
1051 Budapest, Szent István tér 1.

Banquet – Place: Várkert Bazaar

Come and enjoy a friendly and memorable evening with the ISFNT – 14 other participants around a gourmet dinner with musical entertainment and dance. The conference Banquet will be held at the event hall of Várkert Bazaar.

The series of buildings and gardens, known as Várkert bazár, were built in the 19th century (between 1875-1883) by the designs of Miklós Ybl architect. The aim of the construction was to create a similarly elegant and attractive city scape at the foot of the Royal Palace in Buda as the one in the Pest side of the river.

The renovation of the historic complex had been completed in 2014. Since the Bazaar and Royal Gardens are part of the UNESCO’s World Heritage sites, along with Buda Castle and the Danube riverbanks, the monument had to be restored to its original state.

We hope you will enjoy the closing soiree of the conference, and will be impressed by the surprise performance of the dinner.

Thursday, 26th September; 19:30 – 00:00

Várkert Bazaar
1013 Budapest, Ybl Miklós tér 2-6.

This event is free of charge for registered delegates, but you must confirm your intention to attend when you register for the conference at the “Optional programs” link.
